Ezra Casey is a musician and composer. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Alton, Illinois. After starting on drums, Ezra watched his uncle play the organ and piano in church in admiration and began to mimic his uncle. Eventually Ezra began to develop a love for the instrument and at the age of 14, he started seriously playing. At the age of 17, Ezra moved to Springfield where he attended Lincoln Land Community College and studied Music Theory, Class Piano, and Music History. Ezra’s God-given gift has enabled him to tour in and out of the country, teach and give lessons, produce and play for numerous live and studio recordings, and start a local band. In November of 2017, Ezra was blessed with the opportunity to begin serving at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where he enjoys ministering and sharing his talent. In his spare time Ezra enjoys spending time with his family, bike riding, writing and composing music, playing basketball and watching sports.
