Ezra Casey is a musician, composer, producer, and music director. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in Alton, Illinois, his musical journey began on the drums. After watching his uncle play the organ and piano at church, Ezra became inspired to imitate what he heard and soon developed a deep love for the keyboard.

At age 14, Ezra began taking music seriously. Three years later, he moved to Springfield, Illinois, where he attended Lincoln Land Community College and studied music theory, class piano, and music history.

Ezra’s God-given talent has allowed him to tour throughout the United States and internationally, teach aspiring musicians, and perform on and produce numerous live and studio recordings. He is also the Music Director of Kapital Sound, a Springfield-based band that has entertained audiences at concerts, festivals, weddings, corporate events, and community celebrations since 2007.

In November 2017, Ezra began serving at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where he continues to minister and share his musical gifts.

Outside of music, Ezra enjoys spending time with his family, riding his bike, playing basketball, watching sports, and writing and composing new music.
